Portrait Commissions
Every portrait I create is individually drawn from your photograph.
This is not a filter, an automated conversion or a digitally altered photograph. Each piece is built by hand in Adobe Illustrator, detail by detail, and can take 40 hours or more to complete.
Because every animal — and every photograph — is different, the prices below are a guide. I will always confirm the final price with you before beginning your portrait.

Your pet is recreated together with the setting that forms part of the photograph, whether that is a horse running through water, a dog in the countryside, a favourite landscape or another meaningful location.
These are my most detailed commissions and can involve many days of work.

Made to Last
Your finished portrait deserves to be reproduced as artwork, rather than simply printed as a photograph.
My fine-art portraits are produced using giclée printing, a professional process used for high-quality art reproduction.
They are printed on premium, heavyweight cotton-based archival fine-art paper, chosen for its beautiful surface, depth of colour and ability to reproduce the fine detail within the original artwork.
The combination of archival pigment inks and fine-art paper is designed to give the finished print exceptional longevity when it is properly cared for.
The result is a piece intended to be displayed and enjoyed for many years.
More Than a just a Print
Because your portrait is created as vector artwork, it is not restricted to the size of the original photograph.
Unlike an ordinary JPEG, the artwork can be enlarged dramatically while remaining sharp and detailed.
That opens up possibilities far beyond a traditional framed portrait, from larger-format artwork to completely bespoke applications on vehicles, boats, motorcycles, sporting equipment, textiles and other personal projects.
